Welcome to Point Bible Church!

We are an independent Baptist church that has been in existence for over 185 years.  

  • On Sunday morning at 10 a.m., we offer nursery, toddler, and children’s classes during the worship service.
  • We offer Kid’s Club and an Adult Bible Study with a time of prayer on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. 
  • We have a variety of Life Groups throughout the week.
  • We also offer weekly and monthly events for our teen's, young adults, men's and women's groups.

James 1:27 tells us, ”Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. ” Every church has a different niche, and this verse has become our identity. We believe God has specially equipped us to care for those who are often overlooked.  This has resulted in ministries in the church to better serve those in foster and adoptive care and to look after seniors.  This vision has blossomed into a children’s home in Thailand and a Seniors Trailer Park behind the church.  It is not always flashy or exciting, but we know these people are near and dear to the heart of God and deserving of our care and sacrifice.

We desire to reach Whitney Point and the world with the hope of Jesus in an otherwise hopeless world.  We desire to see families and individuals strengthened in the truth and love of God’s word.  No church is perfect, and ours is no exception, but we strive to love others as Jesus taught and to keep His word at the center of all we do.
